Last weekend saw the annual year 12 cultural visit to Barcelona. Twenty-one students accompanied by Mr Burrows, Mrs Garratt and Mr Sutton spent four days enjoying the sights (and soaking up the sun) in this beautiful city. Students visited the cathedral, with a roof top walk, the Sagrada Famillia, Park Guell and Barcelona’s Nou-camp football stadium. They enjoyed a trip to the beach, with a ride back on the cable car, and a day at the Illia Fantasia water park. Students were immersed in Spanish culture, staying in a hotel in the Gothic Quarter, and sampling local cuisine. The staff would like to thank the students for their wonderful company and for a thoroughly enjoyable trip.
